How did you take the mirrors apart? Auction states no installation instructions and I looked at my mirror this morning and didn't see any screws. I hope it's not glue.

Now why can't they do this for the taillights? Instead it's a mess of modules and special coding using special equipment.

Weird. Did the change using my ODB11 and my DRL still shuts off when directional is engaged. I can see the change in my ODB11 app but no change in light behavior. And I was sure to ling press the checkmark to save changes.

Looks like Mirror hack will work on pretty much on any model, 2017+ (just placed an order using the ebay link above), that will go nice with my rear dynamic light. I never knew that hack existed till now, Thank you OP!

The DRL hack didn't work on my 2017 NA model, I tried it when I got my car in 2016.
