Did you feel the need for adaptive chassis b/c of the 21's? We have 21's (GY F1;s) on steel susp and it rides like a dream...if we go 22's we may go w/ active susp afraid we may be pushing it losing about a half inch of sidewall height

Yep. Combined with the M suspension, made for what BMW called a "sporty" ride. Translation: "rattle your fillings." It did hug the road - every little crease and bump in it.

No, I opted for the adaptive chassis mainly based on the reviews I read before buying. Certainly if you do go with the 22's the flexibility of being able to tailor the ride by customizing the adaptive chassis settings to your liking would be nice to have.

She would leave it in comfort...wondering if AC in comfort is similar to steel sprung?

Our 2018 with BOP came with the 21” Pirelli AS. 8K+ miles and wear seems to be very even and plenty of tread left. Handles well in torrential rain and noise level has been good, though we do have adaptive chassis. Haven’t seen any snow or ice where we are yet so can’t speak to that.

Love the Adaptive Chassis on the Qs - seems to be pretty solid tech, compared to say, MMI...

I would definitely go test them equipped either way, and make sure to bring the wife along!

I wish I could find them with 22's w and w/o AC together...drove one with 22's and AC and is was as smooth as ours w/o AC and 21's. Yes wifey is always there...she's into it
