Strange, the windshield behaved much better today, I am beginning to think the temperature effects the performance greatly. It was 55 today with drizzle and road splash, it did not smear. Sure the drops stuck and did not roll off, but trico wipes were much better.

Yeah, there must be something on your windshield because the water beads off mine. And since I replaced the OEM blades, regardless of the temp they clear streak and noise free.

I have a 2018 Prestige with about 250 miles on it. While I haven't noticed any noise from the wipers, there is definitely some odd smearing on the windshield.

Since February, were you able to get rid of the staining/smearing issue?
Mine is still there even after replacing the wipers, $50 down the drain, not only that they are louder now because when the blades change direction they seem to pop back at the end and beginning of the wipe. So annoying.

Here is an example of the staining/smearing on the windshield. It's stain shape of "running water" as if there was a stream of grease/something weird. It evaporates quickly if you don't wipe again, but if you keep wiping, it keeps coming back and messes the vision really badly.
