Default Wireless CarPlay?
So I just saw my neighbor bought a brand new Q8 and it has wireless CarPlay! Is it possible to make CarPlay wireless on Q7?

It would be nice to have but current model Q7 doesn't support wireless CarPlay. The 2020 model might, but it's not confirmed

It does. My friend's 2018 has it. My 2018 RS5 doesnt. I'm hunting for a way to make it possible.

No. Not sure if its part of the Audi Phone box option or not though, which he has.

I noticed the Q8 service loaner I got last week had wireless carplay and wish there was a way to get it on my Q7. Seems like a great feature.

The question is, will it be compatible with the Q7? Probably not.

Connect to to car's wifi first and then the same steps as when setting up carplay via USB

Apparently this is the dongle that should work with 2017-2019 Q7. I haven't tried it though
