It was a nice day, so after work I took the long way home in the urq. Stopped at a touchless car wash, and there were two kids working. You could tell they were looking at the car so one of them said "nice car". You know how cool it feels when someone recognizes it and comments on it. Then he said, "Is that one of them Back to the Future Cars?" OMG! I thought the "Is that a VW Scirocco?" was bad!

Going to pick up the UrQ I had 2 friends along in the convoy, one who'd never even heard of the Quattro before. Halfway home with the car we stop for lunch, and as I'm standing in the lot admiring it, the guy who'd never heard of it before just blurts "It's a seriously cool car. We could make it look like the car from 'Back to the Future' if you wanted."

My other friend smacked him upside the head for me.

Seriously, but then he doesn't know much about cars. One my other neighbors always seems to have some late '60s Ferraris in his garage to work on, and another one has a 360 Spyder and a Maserati Coupe. Then the guy in the cul de sac across the street has a beautiful old Alfa Romeo GTV and a Milano. There are also a bunch of misc. old hotrods as well. Seems like every other house has something fun in the garage.

Showed a few friends Carlisle pictures. They saw the front of Drew's Urq and said "Hey, that looks like a DeLorean!"
