4wd Coversion

Not a bolt on conversion. It is a major reconstruction since most of the floorpan is different. It's been done, but doesn't seem worth it to me. I would rather find a urq and spend the time/money fixing that. Then at least you have something exciting.

BTDT and in short you mgiht as well buy the real thing.
You would need a donor 4000 quattro, a lot of space, welding equipment, time and patience. Just not worth it.
Hope this helps.

Think ive seen a page on it b4
I think MARTIN's quattro pages had a write up on a coupe GT that had a QUATTRO conversion done to it. It did look like quite alot of work for the finished product. Although im sure u could find a GT from England or Germany to import for quite a few pennies less than what u would spend on that kind of conversion. I still think the 4kq looks better with the Urq flares as ive seen a few on 2bennet's site.

In this video at around minute 2:48 there is a great pic of a 4kq with a URQ body conversion draped in a nice silver gray paint. Its definitly how a 4kq should look.
