Default '83 Ur-Quattro control arm

Does anyone know where I can find a RR control arm for an '83 Ur-Quattro? Or have one they would sell me?

I have a brand new set of RR control arms (with bushings).
Also matching RR ball joints, also available.

But those are different from the '83 control arms.

PM me or email
martin at quattro.ca

Thank you

Default RR arms are the same as cast 90 arms

The RR control arms are the same part as the cast control arms for the later 90q, just without the sway bar bushings pressed in from the factory.

The ball joints are unfortunately specific to the RR.

Is he looking for RR or ReaR?

An '83 wouldn't be a RR code would it?

Default Right rear or RR?

I took that to be RR, only because I have Euro cast control arms from the 20v RR on the front of my car.

If he wants Right Rear, then I guess it depends on his VIN.

If it is a late '83 like mine, it uses the same rear control arms as a 4kq/90/CQ. In a pinch you could also use a front left on the right rear. The only difference is the front has the mount for the swaybar.

Well, apparently a ur-quattro has the same control arm as a 4000. I just happened to have a 4000 control arm lying around which I installed today.

And I meant Right Rear when i wrote RR...

Since we're on this topic... My subframes, control arms, ball joints, ect are pretty rusted on my Urq. I have heard that the 4kq subframes ect will replace the Ur front/rear ?? I would rather powdercoat and install new updated version with new busings if this is true.
Thanks

The front subframe is directly swappable. If you have an early car with the rear sway bar, then the rear is much more involved. The only parts that you use from an early ur quattro if converting to a late urq/4kq rear suspension would be the hubs. Nothing else is compatible.
