aside from what is visible, it has new front tie rods, rear tie rod ends, newer style control arms, 90Q ball joints, front sway bar from '84 Urq, rear sway bar from front of Coupe GT, two stage diff lock switch from 4kQ.
still working on the interior and electrical stuff, but it is now driveable.
consiquently the silver BBS rims and sport springs that i took off the car are now for sale if anyone is looking.

Great progress Rich. I have to say that I think the silver rims really set off the car. Have you thought about color matching the rear spoiler to the yellow? That always looks great on the lighter colored cars.
You will be letting us take a first hand look at Pikes Peak this year right?? :O}

i thought a bout picking up one of those fiberglass spoilers, but the yellow will eventually be gone. the paint looks decent from a distance, but up close it is crap, almost like they just painted straight over the gobi with no prep, because where it's flaked off the gobi underneath looks pretty shiney still.

Gobi gets a bad rap, however, I NEVER see a Gobi car freshly done, they always look weathered and old. I would like to see a nice shiny restored Gobi car. I think Mars red is much in the same, albeit my favorite color when new, it doesn't weather well.
