The blower motor in my 1983 Ur-quattro is making noise. Does anyone know if it is interchangable with other audis ?

And also its under the rain tray is that correct ?

4000, 4000 Quattro and Coupe have same motor.To get to it you need to remove plastic thing between fire wall and front windshield. Under you will find white dome fasten to body with four screws, remove it. Motor is under this sitting on the top of heater core.

Thanks, so basically underneath the rain tray. I wonder if i can just lube it up and save it, it works but just started whining.
