Brake host attachment to front strut. Just push the hose to the sky?

Brake host attachment to front strut. Just push the hose to the sky?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/37382/brakehosetostrut.jpg"></center><p>Before I break something - do I just push the hose up to release it from this strut? Grab the hose on both sides and lift - or maybe squeeze that little grommet the hose goes through?
The goal -> Remove the strut from the car. Yep I loosened the axle nut first.
