Creepy sound in wheels while steering left/right
 

Hi, I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.8L quattro. Since last 2 days when the car is at a still and when i turn the steering all the way to the left, i can hear a short noise somewhere down in the front(wheels). Similary with when i turn all the way to the right (this is with both engine turned on and off)

Plz help!

You probably bottoming out steering rack and pump is pumping against dead end. If this is the case nothing to worry about. Check also or p/s fluid level is OK.
