Will the guage cluster from an 87 4000 (1.8l) be compatible with my 84 urq? (wx) I want to move the differential controller **** to another location and replace it with this cluster.

Assuming you mean center console guages, then guages yes, cluster no. ( as long as you have the matching senders) The best bet is the set from a CGT. Cluster fits and you get gauges meant for a 5 cyl, don't forget the senders and the harness would be handy, BTDT!

The guages are fine, just ask about the senders or else this is no "deal" per se. Also that face plate will not fit the CGT/UrQ center panel, so you'll need one of those as well. Seems to have at least a partial harness though.

The one shown is an 85+ panel (unless you've already swapped your dash for a later one).
