Guess what ? yes another break down
Alright, im starting to get used to this.
Anyways, does anyone know if the Fuel pump in my 8/1982 (1983) is the same as any other audi/ VW ?
Also with my running Megasquirt on 42lbs injectors, would this be overkill for my stock fuel pump ?
Thanks.

The stock fuel pump, if in good shape and getting fuel voltage is fine for a car with EFI, even taken pretty far past the stock turbo, etc.
As for a replacement pump, that same pump was used on the 4k(q)s and lots of others. If you want to get a pump with a bit more "headroom" for future mods, you might look at getting a Bosch 044. Whatever you put in, make sure that it is properly relayed and that the filters are good.
BTW, is this Brian Bressler's old car?

Thanks; not sure how I missed that. Actually, I am sure--have I mentioned how I hate this new forum setup? It's not the forum itself, just niggling little settings and things that I have to keep tweaking. I'm not sure how much more I can take...
