H&R Koni set-up
anyone have problems with this set up? i just got my car back from the shop that installed them while they were fixing my cracked oil feed line. i'm getting it aligned tomorrow but it seems like it is riding on the bumpstops. do the bumpstops need to be shaved down at all? the back seems fine but the front is rock hard. is there anything that they could have missed when they installed them. i had them replace all the strut mounts at the same time. i want to try and get my oz's on finally. i'll post some pics if it happens. the front is in the weeds. they may not fit.
any help would be appreciated. TIA

I hate the H&R Koni set-up! Go with Bilsteins
The Koni/H&R combo is just too hard for the street.
By the time you soften the compression on the Konis it's too soft to contro anything.
I almost prefer the H&R with stock shocks on my '83.

Re: H&R Koni set-up
My Ur-Q has H&Rs with Konis (installed by previous owner) and my 4000 quattro has H&Rs with Bilstein Sports. I do not know what settng the Konis are set on, and there is a pretty major tire difference (AVS Intermediates on the 4kq and some all-season made for Sears Pirellis--that have to go--on the Ur-Q). Tires aside, the cars handle very close to the same. Steering on the 4kq is a little lighter, but aside from that they feel pretty much the same to me.
