I'm using the Audi official factory repair manual for the "84-87 4000S, 4000CS, and Coupe GT including Quattro and Quattro Turbo" and there are some numbers and terms in here that I can't find an explanation for.

They frequently use a phrase like "US 1105" (chain for a engine hoist) to describe a tool. Or "VW 387". Or just tool "2084". I sometimes get a general idea of what the tool should be but is there any reference where I can look up these numbers?

Also, they always say to use "G6 Grease" when grease is needed. Do you have to special order this (from Audi?)?
