Hose question

Hose question
I have this cute little hose dangling off of the wastegate. I think i read somewhere that its some sort of release... but ETKA says its supposed to be a couple of ft long. Mines only 6 inches.
Is it supposed to go anywhere?

Its a diagnostic port. Most cars don't have the hose at all.
