I always wondered
When my car goes over 4500 rpm I'll hear a noise as if I was at a lumber mill and the logs are going into the buzz saw. The metalic blade buzzz. I'm figuring I have some leak - like cracked manifold or wastegate pipe.
Do you get the replacement EM from Audi?

I plan on getting it welded.
Or at least try to have it welded.
It's cast, and the crack is kinda in a wierd to reach place.
If not, I'll go with a tubular from Dialynx, or a two piece like 1984cgturbo mentioned.
