Default I've been in contact with AoA.....

I'll drop them a line once in a while via the parts/service contact on the website regarding the parts situation.
I've been doing this for years.....
But more-so lately of course.

Yesterday the response person that replied back claims that they are not aware of any kind of liquidation of quattro/sport quattro service parts.......

Is there anyone else we can get a hold of???

Default And you're surprised?

I was looking at magaizines at the newstand the other day.

I was browsing the 2006-2007 Consumer Reports Car Buying Guide. The 2006-2007 New Car Comparison Guide, Edmunds New Car Buying Guide and a few others too.

Each to a "T" had pictures and specs and very detailed data on the Audi RS3 including when it is due to be released.

So me being a dumba$$ decided to write to Audi to get the "official" word. Now I remind you at least a half dozen magaizines had detailed articles all about it.

Here is the response I got back from Audi.

>>>

Dear Mark:
Thank you for your interest in Audi.
No plans have been announced at this time for production of an RS3, but we will be happy to forward your note to the appropriate persons for consideration in future planning. The preferences and opinions of our customers are very important in developing models for the coming years.
The only two-door model currently scheduled for production is the new TT, which will be available in the spring (Coupe) and summer (Roadster) of 2007, as a 2008 model.
Again, thank you for contacting us. Please write again if we can be of any further assistance.

An you're surprised when you hear that they aren't "aware" of any issues?

Write to AoA and ask them about any problems with coil packs on the 1.8T or control arm issues on A4's. Guaranteed they'll write back saying they haven't heard of any problems at all.

Truly amazing
