Miller's #40 UrQuattro
Reading the article (and seeing the pictures) of the project car at the Hershey hill climb gave me a "Holy ****" moment. I owned this car between late 88 and 93'. It was parked for a long time at Bruno Kreibich's shop in Ridgewood Queens originally in the Valvoline livery, then it was painted to it's original color, Tornado red. The car had a full cage, no AC, (and 8" white Ronals) but everything else worked. I bought the car from Bruno, installed the Euro Hellas (still on the car in the article) and drove it now and then. I finally sold it to someone who worked for one of the vendors for BMWNA (in Montvale) who then spent megabucks enhancing the mechanicals . . . What confirmed my thoughts on the car was the picture of the "Sports Car" magazine with this car on the cover (and the names "Gene Felton" and "Bobby Unser" on the right 1/4 window, When I bought the car you could still see a ghost image of both names on that same window).
