Default Priscilla got some new eyes this weekend!

Still running stock wattage with crappy relay kit, but soon to change. Need to modify lower trim pieces a little to make them fit and also need to aim the lights. They're not pointing up, but they can definitely be aimed more correctly. Haven't driven with them late at night either, but the dawn and dusk performance is much better than the DOT crap.

Question, though. The surface of the lights sticks out about .5" past the grill with the lights pushed back as far as they'll go in the mounting holes, is this normal?

Default you need to update the grille. the 85's have a slanted grille.

His car is not an '85, nor are those sloping H4/H1s, these are flat H4/H1s... very nice!!

Default Exactly

It's some cheapie thing that a friend of mine got me through IPD, the ovloV parts company, for $20 (he gets a pretty big discount from them, retails somewhere around $60). It's only got 14 ga wire but came with relays and headlight connectors, I'll at least reuse the connectors. The kit, some APC product, claims up to 100w, I think, but I'd be more comfortable with 10 ga wire and beefier relays than what was provided. First proof of concept, then build my own system.

They are the flat lights, and I've got an extra set of them as well. Bought some off ebay, then picked up a set at a boneyard in the motherland. These on my car are a valeo body with cibie lens, the others are all cibie.

I can do it myself, but maybe I'll take a look at yours as well to get an idea.

Thanks!
