Otherwise, they'll break and OEM parts will not be available. And an unoriginal SQ is worth a fraction of the real deal.

A serious question about SQ part availability
The PN's for that car are NOT in ETKA, correct? Where do the PN's come from ASIDE from being on the parts that are in the car themself? I realize the parts for the car are probably outrageous, but Ive always wondered where one got parts for it, be it interior, or engine related.

The PN are in European ETKA, but will be pointless once the current stock of parts are sold.
Hence if a SQ gets into a minor fender bender, the car will be unfixable. That list, many of the parts are specific SQ parts. So if Audi sells off the entire lot of parts to 3rd party vendors at a discount, owners of these 75000 dollar cars cannot get parts from Audi and the liklihood of these parts being consumed for other purposes goes way up with no replenishing supply.

luckily the international Sport Quattro Club together with Audi Tradition (yes, you got that right - it was actually Volkswagen, the owner of those spare parts - who sold the parts and Audi Tradition bought some of the parts from Volkswagen. Funny things can happen in huge companies like this) bought a lot of those SQ parts and especially the kevlar parts are not a problem, there are plenty of these parts available to Sport Quattro owners. Parts like dashboard or seats or alloy wheels are a little more difficult to find.
