What the hell is wrong!?!?

How come this car only went to 3K???? I remember 2 years ago cars like that were going for well over 10K!

Wow, thats pretty low for that car. Guess people do not have the funds for purchases like fun cars.

If the reserve was 12K , hi bidder bid 10k and 2nd hi bid 3K

Ebay might display high bid as only 3k. Hi bidder's 10k wasn't called into play as reserve was not met and 3k was the highest challenge.

If reserve was 90K somebody could have bid 89K and still shows up as 3K .

Right?

It does only show $ 3151 and because nobody else bid it didnt go to the next higher bidders max... Its my listing and was surprised.. Ive dropped the price to a blow out $ 11,500 for a really nice car.... There were 147 watchers on ebay which was the most ive ever had on anything.. I think part of the problem was that it ended during the day and on a weekday.. I have it listed elsewhere..... I have more into the car that what ive got it listed ofr... Just trying to move it so I can work on my new project, which is the Villain / s-Line URQ......

The best suggestion I can offer is to have the auction close on a Sunday evening. That has always been my sweet spot for listings that I wanted people fight for.

Try selling on ebay.de
As long as you get a quote for shipping the car to Germany (seaport) it should be no problem selling it there.

I just sold one of Mike's (my ex) cars there and went for a lot more that you would get for it here.

Hope this helps.

Maybe supercoupe has the right idea - bring it to Carlisle.

Bring the car to the people. It's hard to buy a car without seeing it first hand. You might have to just build up interest in your local community. If you live in Colorado and want to sell a car - get into urq26. Having a car beat you on the track could get your interest up.

BTW, there another similar one that's just about to finish... it looks a little bit rougher so I guess it will be the same thing...

Thanks for the tips guys..

Martin... I was contacted by a few people from germany.. But I didnt want to get into the hassle of shipping and exporting.. Would be nice to keep it in the states..... Heck would be nice if I could keep it lol.. Gotta try and keep up with Curt in lower Michigan.. One for winter and one for summer ....

Dudes need to take more underbody photos of typical rust areas

These cars can look great on top and horrible on the bottom, horrible inside the fenders.
