ok ok...... i stole the name.. but it's cool right??

So i have the drive all planned out. I drove it on Sunday and wrote everything down as i went..... yes i pulled off the road to write it..... most of the time :D

We will meet at Chili's at C-470 and Kipling at the very south part of the parking lot at 4:30pm. (Oct. 20th, Sunday) There is a gas station there so if you need gas, drinks, etc. you can get it there in that shopping area. We'll leave at 5:00pm SHARP so that we have enough sunlight for pictures at Red Rocks.

we'll leave Chili's and head up C-470 to Morrison Rd. (bandimere exit). Anyone that doesn't want to meet at Chili's should jump on the with group at the Conoco next to Bandimere Speedway. We won't stop there because that place isn't big enough, and I don't want to piss anyone off over there. So jump on from there as we pass by.

We'll turn right onto Hwy 93 and turn into Red Rocks on the North entrance where w. alameda meets 93. We'll go through Red Rocks past the trading post (theater) and down to the parking lot just south of the post. Take a group picture with all the cars lined up in front of the rocks.

Once the sun goes down, we'll continue out of the park onto Bear Creek Rd. (right) which turns into hwy 74. we'll take that into Evergreen and turn onto Hwy. 73. The catch up/bathroom stop will be the Mountain Market which is on the right side (it's a gas station), just after the first light you come to after turning onto Hwy 73. We'll take a break there, bathroom, whatever you need.

We'll continue down Hwy. 73 to N. Turkey Creek Rd. Take that sweet road all the way past Hwy 285 and left onto S. Turkey Creek Rd. past Tinytown and onto Hwy 285. From 285 we'll get onto C-470.

For those that can't get enough of the VW people I will be reserving the patio at Chad's Union Street Cafe in Lakewood. So if you want to go to Chad's afterwards, please tell me at Chili's so I can call in ahead.

To get to Chad's, we'll take C-470 west to I-70 east onto 6th Ave. east. Get off at Union and head south to 275 Union Blvd. (it's on the right side just after Black Angus). We'll park in the south parking lot because there is plenty of space.

Well... that's the drive, total driving time (including my stops and i wasn't going very fast) was 1 hour and 20 minutes and about 50 miles from the start (chili's) to the end (chad's).

Don't forget to bring your radios, Talk-Abouts... whatever you have. We'll be on channel 7, no sub because some people don't have the sub channels. Hope everyone can make it!
