Let me clarify..
I was going to edit that last post, but no edit?
Anyway, on older Audi's, the airbag light needs to be reset using the 2x2 connectors located under/behind the climate control unit in the dash. My car (a '92) is right on the line of when VAG-COM started connecting to the airbag control unit.
Hopefully, Avalon can connect to my airbag controller using the older VAG-Com connection under the hood. Though, I would like a back up in case I need to dig into the dash. Most of the older Audi owners just have the cheapie tool, rather than a full blown Rosstech setup.
