Owners with a ski bag...

How do you stuff that darn thing back in? I have it hanging in my trunk and I can't figure out for the life of me how all of that will fit back in.

Roll it up and jam it in there. I think I unrolled it once in the lifetime of owning my car.

Course the fact that snowboards don't fit in there may be a factor.

seriously, i've never used it. I just put the seat down. I'm guessing you just roll it up?

gragravar 05-04-2006 12:19 PM

you need to refold it REALLY neatly, that is why I rarely use it.

You'd think after 15+ years of offering that as an option...

that Audi would have figured out how to make it fit back in a little easier. My 15 year old Coupe has one and it too is a pain in the ass to get back in. My 2000 A4 Avant was no easier.

Step 1: Remove skis. Step 2: Pull bag into car and fold up neatly and tightly. Step 3: Pack into

seat.

I've never had a problem with it.

Instead of rolling it up, think of it as folding it up.

a roundhouse followed by a quick jab should do the trick.......

cpayne 05-04-2006 02:14 PM

I took mine out to replace the fuel pump..still cant get the bastard back in

Pat 05-04-2006 02:16 PM

You guys have the armrest down when you put the bag back in, right?

Then close it up from the cabin first, THEN put the panel on the trunk side of it. I'm really surprised so many have trouble with this. I use mine all the time.
