Question for Denver/Springs folks...
First off, I'm now a proud 2003 allroad owner. <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/88528.phtml">=)</a>
Second, my A4 is still in the body shop from the hail, but atleast I can return this Enterprise rental now...
Here's the deal. My lease is up on my A4, and those Pirelli's are *pretty* worn. I'm wondering if any of you guys/gals have had lease-end experiences with tires... Are they really *that* strict about the amount of tread? Will my dealership look the other way considering I just bought a new car from them?
If I need to replace the tires, anyone around town looking to unload some 225/45-17s with decent tread on them? I'm guessing they can be all seasons or summer tires. I leased the car with summer tires on it, but that was in Virginia, I'm in Colorado now.
Thanks.

1st, welcome and congrats on the ar
I traded my A4 in for my allroad as well. [good choice ;-) ]
how bad really are the A4 tires? did the lease end inspection mention them. If not, I'd turn it in as is. If it did call them out, then you'll need to address it. Before you buy new ones though, look at what the turn in charge is for bad tires - just paying Audi may turn out to be less of a headache, and possibly less expensive, than running around to put a new set on. I seem to remember from my lease end form that the prices seemed pretty reasonable.

Ah thanks for the welcome and info...
It's stated on the back of the lease paperwork, but I was just wondering how strictly it was enforced. I haven't had my lease end inspection yet, so we'll see. In fact I haven't gotten a call yet from AoA about the inspection... which is good, because the car is at Daniels getting the hail damage repaired.
