Default Suggestion to top off low coolant ....

I was changing my oil yesterday and noticed that on my 2001 A4 (2.8L V6), the coolant is just a bit low (about 3/4" of an inch below low line). When I had the timing belt replaced, G12 was put in and I would like to bring it up to the proper level.

I do my own oil changes, air filter, cabin filter (i.e. the real basic stuff) but I use Autobahn Premier for all other services. Thus, I really don't need to purchase a full gallon (which becomes 2 gallons when I mix with distilled water) at the dealership as I won't be doing any coolant related work on the car myself.

Any recommendations just to top off my coolant (I have heard horror stories about mixing coolants with G12) .... thanks.

Use G12 ONLY. If you need to top off and do not have any, use distilled water only.

Default I actually have some you can have.

I have at least 2 half full gallons of G-12 you can take what you need if you want.
