Default A little odd to be talking about summers as most people are putting on winters

But hey, whatever.

Don't get Dunlop SP Sport MAXX. Unless you feel like getting 12,000 to maybe 15,000 miles out of the tires. Mine are around 12,000 and already at 2/32nds. Went from 10/32nds to 6/32nds in the first 4,000 miles. Tramline like crazy, not as fast around the track as my previous tire (GY F1-GSD3), had issues with keeping air (all 4 tires not just 1), etc.

I'll be going back to the GY's next time by. Got at least 20,000 miles from them, if not closer to 25,000. And was happy with them all around.

We've had good luck with ContiSportContact2s and F1 GSDs

Default Yokohama AVS ES100 because they don't suck and they are cheap.

At $110 a tire, you can't go wrong.

Default I'll 2nd this. One of my favorites. However, the S.drive came out a few months ago as....

...it's replacement. Supposed to be better all around, but mostly in noise and ride comfort.

Default May be selling car, should I buy some Dunlop SP winter sports or get pole positions? look

My brother Tennyson passed away last week and I would prefer selling the car in hopes of keeping my brothers house but until I get the title I can't do anything. I was thinking about getting some Dunlop SP Winter sport snow tires to enjoy the car on some snowy days but then I think about the mag chloride and it being lowered and how sucky it is and how rare I drive the car. Not sure its good for me to invest in snow tires when I have a duramax diesel truck as a daily driver. What do you think?

Default Sorry to hear about the brother:(

I suggest just buying another set of Ecsta MXs, as they are pretty cheap, and a great deal for the money.

Default 2nd -- Pete at Tire Source in Boulder might still have a cheap set of tires

or know of some other take offs to give you some drives in the S4 -- I know going for a drive takes my mind off things sometimes. Really sorry to hear about your loss.
