Where was this ? Anyone else have a problem with state officials

spending dollars on Japanese cars ? I think it is pretty ****ty considering the state of our economy. The Sti is definitely not the "best" or "only" product in it's market, so that rationalization doesn't cut it.

What next ? Colorado troopers in Blackhawk helicopters swooping down and terrifying motorists on 36 or 25 ?

cpayne 11-15-2003 05:31 AM

Wonder if they modifed her at all?

Also dont know that I have ever seen very few Police in non-American Cars. Except in my hometown Vail where they drive Saab's and Aspen too

http://www.anzwers.org/free/policecars/st6.html</a

Damn, Zev, 4:19 in the morning! Don't you ever sleep? It doesn't really bother me that the state

spent money on a Japanese car, they have to spend it on some kind of car and the STi is a nice car for Colorado (bet they won't transport people in it, it's only for catching speeders :-( ) If US auto makers made a comparable car, then yes, the state should buy that car. Personally, I don't think state troopers need cars at all, I mean come on, how many of us actually break a law (like speeding?), I know I don't!

As for the helicopters, they need them to run down people like you who move here from the East coast and have no self control and use our hiways as their own personal race track in their highly modified Audi's. I thought this would have been obvious to you!?!

actually, the way economics works, foreign investments works out just as well for us.

Vanimaniac 11-15-2003 10:09 AM

Well to let ya'll in on a little secret....

It aint real. The guy that owns the car works for the state patrol. Does like all their videoing, filming, whatnot. They gave him the decals but he can't do jack to ya if he sees ya. He aint State Patrol so don't fear if you see this thing flying up to you. Looks pretty cool. I don't know if this is legal though.
