Default Lowering springs on RS6

Any idea if adding lowering springs would damage the DRC system or accelerate its demise?

No problems....4.2 A6 H&R springs are commonly put on with the stock DRC.

I am about to do this myself this spring to my RS6....though I might ditch the whole DRC system and go Konis with the H&Rs.

The DRC was a good idea...just not executed well enough for the real world.

Just don't disconnect the plumbing. Once you discharge the DRC you have to do the recharge process. At least now it can be done without replacing the central accumulators at $1200 each!!!

If you're going through the cost with labor just remove DRC and install Kw-v3 or similar. Much better handling especially with Hitchkiss sway bars. Lower with adjustable height.

My 2 cents.
