Oil in the intercooler hoses...
Dealer says oil drips I noticed on garage floor came from weeping intercooler hoses. I was told that the amount of oil in the hoses was "within Audi specs," whatever they are. They cleaned the hoses and said to come back if it drips again.
Can anyone tell me how this oil ends up in the intercooler hoses on our cars - turbos/oil vent/other? What amount is cause for concern?

here's a pic showing the bottom of my intercooler

Yeah. Its a stock phrase they use when they havent got a clue whats really happening.. ala DRC..
when they repair it wrong and say 'well, its within Audi specs".. when you ask further, they really dont have any specs they can pull up.. its a seat o the pants call by the presiding tech.. One thing I have learned with these cars, you have to call them out on everything..
