Okay......lets do it.....DRC class action

Insurance paid? How did that work?
I can understand insuance paying if, for example, you drove over a patch of Michigan potholes capable of destroying suspensions. Is that the sort of thing that happened? If not, what was the basis of your claim that made them pay? And who is your insurance company?

while you're at it, how about the carbon build up on the intake manifolds
that's gotta be another potential class-action right there. And a lot more RS4's than RS6's, no? Larger class = better likelihood of settlement/recovery?

3rd FAILURE for one of my clients...
<center><img src="http://www.performanceoutfitters.com/drcleak.jpg"></center><p>Hi Guys,
One of my old school BMW clients picked up a gently used RS4 from a friend of his and has been suffering DRC issues since then. I have linked him to this thread so he can get involved in the action.

I am in now
Just got back from a inspection at the dealer, found my clunking, reproduced, they put it on the rack and found leaking struts! What a surprise! So they have ordered the parts for me and will be replacing sometime in mid feb. When the work is done I will send you all the repair info and car stats:
2008 Sprint Blue RS4, 6300 miles, purchased Sept 2008. Work being done by Overturf Audi of Kennewick WA.

Just sold mine but this might help
All my service records are now on their way to Colorado from Florida, where I sealed the deal on Friday. And since I no longer own an RS 6, I'm not sure how much time I want to devote to this. I was an original owner, love the car even today, but gave up over the aggravation of repeated DRC repairs ... and the expense I'd face if I continued after warranty. I'm glad to have DRC worries out of my life & not sure I want to dwell on it much more.
But here's something that might help. A friend who's a former cop said last night he's been considering a TT, "but if Audi won't take care of its top of the line customers, I'll never touch a TT." Later he called the DRC frequency & cost problems "one of the most absolutely rude things I've heard of."
I'll be glad to share his name and number in an email if it might help. And if I can join the suit as a former owner with no service records, let me know. Can't promise anything but I'll consider it.
