I can't wait for mine! I bet I have the worse handling RS6 in the States!

I got the letter today. States replacement of 4 shocks.
Did the earlier in the year DRC replacements include replacing the central valve? Is the new tool capable of pressurizing the system w/o replacing the central valve?

My SA called me today as well to report that the new bits are in stock and whenever I want we can do it..
Gonna check into the blue fluid as well.

My SA reiterated when asked that the central valves are being replaced as well as the shocks. Mine went in today, should be ready tomorrow, parts took roughly 2 weeks to arrive once ordered.

I am pretty sure they don't replace the central valves. When I got my recall done I was told the new tool allows them to recharge the central valve without replacing them.

Mine just went in this morning. I'll report back when I hear from them.

I was scheduled for DRC on Wednesday, I got there they told I was the first Car they will perform the recall and that they needed 3 days to do it. So I'm supposed to pick it up today. We'll see will keep you posted.

They want extra time with mine as well.

The letter said 5 hours LOL. But I'm giving them 5 days....

Also doing:

90000 mile service
Replacing four rotors
Replacing windshield (had new one put in last fall, cracked the past month, poor fit I think)
add to 90k service, replace timing belt, v-belt, flush radiator, change brake fluid, service transmission.
Replacing all wearable suspension parts, universal joints, etc - makes zero sense to not do this with the shocks being changed etc....
All the extra cost on me but worth it.
My current extended warrantee runs out at 104,000 miles, currently just about to turn 90,000! I have asked about another extension, have not heard back yet, but I don't think that will be a problem as many extended warrantees are being offered on cars with up to 250,000 miles LOL.

I had mine replaced a month ago and so far so good. No leaks, good handling, softer ride. Nothing earth-shattering, but back to the way it was before which is nice. Still some sqeaking even though I have replaced all of the bushings. Not sure what that is about. Good luck.
