Presenting the next generation of the AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake for Audi C7 S6/S7 and RS6/RS7:
  • Proven power on Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars, with and without downpipes

The C7 4.0T S-FLO Carbon Intake:



Full floating carbon construction, no silicone. The AWE C7 4.0T S-FLO Carbon Intake features full carbon fiber construction allowing smooth transitions of airflow from the grille inlet to the turbo inlets. By deploying a new grille-mounted air box inlet, and utilizing the factory accordion turbo couplers, the S-FLO Carbon Intake floats in place under heavy torque situations, preventing strain on the carbon fiber.

In other words, this box has both the looks and performance to earn the AWE S-FLO badge.

The S-FLO Filter:

The included AWE S-FLO Filter is designed specifically for the AWE C7 4.0T S-FLO Carbon Intake to ensure easy service and to maximize airflow by sitting in the direct path of ram air from the grille. The combination of S-FLO carbon airbox and included S-FLO Filter makes for a more aggressive intake note, with a distinctive turbo spool sound when under boost and letting off of the throttle.

















Power testing:

The AWE C7 4.0T S-FLO Carbon Intake has been power and quality tested on the stock setup as well as under aggressive stage two conditions which incorporated high-flow downpipes. The AWE C7 4.0T S-FLO Carbon Intake produced healthy gains in all scenarios, and has withstood long-term real-world testing for quality and performance.

Add in our new enlarged, integrated honeycomb-meshed port located on the top of the S-FLO’s air box, and you’ve got optimal airflow even when pushing higher-than-stock boost levels.

Just had one installed today on my tuned 2017 RS7 Performance. Engine light is on.

That's not good. Let us know what you discover as I'm sure there are a few of us that are interested in getting one of these. Is it possible that since your RS7 is tuned, it doesn't like that?

There's no MAF sensor on there to cause a CEL. Never has there once been a CEL during our intake testing on this platform, even dating back to the beginning in 2014/15.

I recommend you check your codes to see what else is going on.

Would you mind providing some detail between the first generation model intake and this upgraded version? After having read at least two accounts of RS7's with turbo impeller damage after having these intakes installed, I'm curious to see what improvements were made in this version of the intake.

Sorry, turbo impeller damage? With the Gen 1 SFLO? Is that a blanket statement about all intakes on these cars? I have never once heard of that, let alone because of our intake.


The Gen 2 features a new floating inlet, grated opening at the top of the box, and full carbon outlets. Completely silicone-less.
