Should i wait 2017.. or buy 2016 help: )

Hello Everyone

I really want to have a RS7. I was going to get a GTR R35 or s500L but.. its ended with RS7. i will get one, definetly but.. What do you think, should i buy this generation (sexy!) or wait 1 more year for the new one. I'm goıing to keep the new car for about 5 years when i get one. I just wanted to have some opinions from audi RS7 lovers. Sorry for my low English. Thanks everyone!

I don't think you are going to see an RS7 on the new body style that will be coming out for quite a few years in the US. The 2017 I think is more or less the same as the current model.

Oops, I meant the 2016. The 2017 is radically different but Audi usually waits a few years after a new redesign to bring the RS version to the US. It's not a guarantee they even will.

I'll be trading my 2014 RS7 for the 2017. For me there's lots of improvements. 44 more hp, 4G LTE, an up-to-date Nav map, and (hopefully) carbon ceramic brakes. Only con I can think of is it probably won't rip cd's to the jukebox like my 14 does.

I know, you're probably thinking... "What are cd's?" :)

When are the 17's coming out? I just ordered a 16. I was under the impression that the one with increased HP was only in the performance version which would be around 20k more. I do like the new titanium trim and wheels though. Now I need to check about my order.

I have build sheet on the american performance and the titanium is NOT on there - it's all Carbon Fiber - mirrors and engine trim is back! titanium is NOT even an option.

Thinking of going Prism Silver, but Matte.

Updated with sheets as PDF instead of images...

I think you mean the 2016 RS7 Performance Edition. Only Performance Edition comes with extra HP and Ceramic Brakes. It goes on sale next month, December 2015.

The regular 2016 RS7 model still has the same hp as your 2014.

MSRP: Performance $129,000 vs. Regular $108,900

And DRC/Sport Exhaust is standard on the Performance model

Just buy it and then buy the new one when it's out. Otherwise, you'll spend your life waiting for something.
