Transmission question - jerky acceleration?
Hi - I'm relatively new to my '16 RS7 - but I've put about 2k miles on it. When I have the car in Auto or Comfort, it seems to me that the transmission can be "hurky jerky" in going from a stop into 1st gear, with sort of a sudden acceleration, or lurch, no matter how gently I apply the accelerator. Is this just me, am I not used to something (my last car was a 2011 Jaguar XF supercharged)? Or is this something wrong with the transmission? Thanks in advance.

I have this issue with my 2016 A7 for the past few weeks and the car has 43k miles. IT was smooth for 3.5 years with no lurch or gear hesitations etc. This is a problem with the clutch adaptor and needs to be reprogrammed. There is another person that had this issue with the A7 lurching and gear hesitation and lag that got the clutch adaptation done and it was smooth again. It takes about 2hours to do.
