RS7's can't be sold now?
I talked to my local Audi dealer about a 2018 RS7 they had and I wanted to purchase. I was told that all RS7's are on hold and can't be sold because of a recall. Any info on this?
I called AOA and didn't get much info from them or from dealer. I was told it will be possibly December before they are released. ??? |
My dealer said all A6/A7 models with the non comfort seats are on hold due to a wiring issue that I believe affects the airbag sensor. This could be the issue with the RS7 as well although that would be odd since the seats are different. |

First, the C8 cars are not effected as they are not even on the market in North America as yet. The car you are discussing is a C7.5 and yes there is a stop sell on them as the PODS sensor under the passenger seat that controls the airbag needs to be replaced. There is currently no date for the replacement of these sensors.
