Default "Permanent Mute" after incoming call. After the wife washed and dried my phone.....

a new Razor, just like the old one, puts the stereo in permanent mute after all incoming calls until I either turn it off or disable the bluetooth. I can turn it back on and all is well until the next call. Any ideas?

Besides the don't wash your phone!

Default dip the phone in alcohol to absorb the water, blow out with a dryer on air

Then finish drying in the oven at the lowest temperature with the door open, to keep from overheating it.

If that doesn't work, buy a new phone.

Default Sorry I wasn't clear; It's the RS4 stereo that mutes w/call. Phone was toast and was replaced....

That's when the problem started. The pre-wash version worked great, now with the same type phone the RS4 audio goes to mute and stays there. No matter how you push the on/off/mute button it stays in the mute mode until you turn the phone off or uncouple the bluetotth.

Default Try dipping the RS4 in alchohol, what's the worst that can happen?

Sorry, I hope you find a solution.

Default The real trick is to put it in a sealed container with rice.

After a few days the rice will have absorbed all of the moisture from your phone. It has worked for me in the past!
