Default &$%#@@ My RS4 is down for the count with only 318 miles!

Just got a call back from service department, very nice guy there Johan at NCA, gave me the bad news.

1) Faulty intake runner
2) Faulty intake runner sensor
3) Faulty oxygen sensor

He says they are taking as many values from the computer and sending it out to Audi. However he doesn't expect Audi to get back to them today, and then it's likely they will send product support out to Greenwich to evaluate my car. Then if any parts are needed they will have to order them.

We're looking at possibly weeks. The only possible upside is that there is a glitch in the electronics and that Audi might have them reset all the error codes and send it home, but that won't be known for a while.

Ok, so this SUCKS bigtime.

Default Seriously? You're kidding right?

I told the rep, this car costs hella money. If its out for more than a week I am going to start to count its absence in dollars, not days.

Not that there's anything he can do about it, he's doing everything that can be done I'm sure.

Default Who did you talk to? AoA? Can you give me info?

I want to be prepared in case it goes that long.

Any phone numbers you have or names would be appreciated.

It pisses me off to lose it for even a week at the cost of this car, let alone 2 or 3, or heaven forbig 4.

Default I would seriously look into that because that would be BS if they hold the car long.

Don't know what kind of financial arrangement dxben has but if it's like most, those are big monthlies.

Default I have no problem dealing with the cost of the car, but I don't like paying for nothing

Everyday the car deppreciates, so even the ammount I put down on the car in a sense gets wasted.
