*Zach88* Thought for euro FB steeing wheel.
Like most of you guys i love the look of the rs4 flat bottom steering wheel but like to keep all the functions the US model has.
The rs6 steering wheel is a great option but doesn't quite combine the two. I have an aluminum interior and I want the rs4 wheel to be the fit.
So as I was browsing around all RS forums I got some info that might benefit all those who want to make the swap.
The plastic bottom flat part of the euro rs4 wheel is sold alone by audi. (Ref:rs246dotcom) It is supposedly held on the steering wheel by a few screws. Zach88 can help with this, could this flat bottom piece be swapped out with the black "T" of the rs6? If this is the case then I will be looking to purchase both tomorrow.
TIA

I don't think that the bottom "T" of the RS6 wheel can be deattached....
Very cool idea though but it seems like the bottom of the RS6 is one piece with the rest of the wheel. I also could not find any screws that would enable the bottom piece to de-attach.

Re: I don't think that the bottom "T" of the RS6 wheel can be deattached....
It seems like the silver T is overlapping the leather on the actual rs4 steering wheel. I am not big on cutting steering wheels as I perceive it as unsafe but would it be possible to fabricate the T of the rs6 wheel and slide the silver T over the three ends. I know I am reaching now but god it would look great!
