Default ~304HP at the wheels with Milltek resonated; Plots (vs. absoluteis'), Pictures, video

Mods to the car are a K&N Panel filter and a Milltek Resonated cat-back. We added two, 2-inch vacuum controlled "dump" valves (similar to the stock exhaust valves) between the resonators and mufflers, which are attached to the factory lines tied to the Sport-button-controlled reservoir.

My main concern today was that we weren't losing any major power/torque there (with the dumps) and it seems that everything's okay; but without another Milltek-equipped car we won't know!

My plots also include absoluteis' best run on the same dyno (colder day, though) -- the lowest results are my car with sport mode OFF, the middle are his best stock run with I'm assuming sport mode ON, and the highest are mine with sport mode ON.

Link to Video, comments and/or similar sheets appreciated. Please let me know if this checks out as the correct amount of gains... Milltek advertises both ~20HP (crank?) and the torque improvement... so it seems about right assuming a 29% drivetrain loss.

Default That dyno is notorious for drivetrain loss. Did you do a stock baseline prior? Also what ...

Is your torque and at what RPM?

No baseline, the best I have is his previous run on the same dyno, but a colder day.

Torque was 252ft/lbs at the wheels, I believe.

Default Keep in mind he is on a dyno dynamics at KTR that has literally dozens...

of baselined audi quattro cars and I believe it loses at least 32% at the wheels IIRC if not much more. The dyno dynamics is evil. Stock B6 A4 dynod 108whp. Stock S4 I believe around 230whp. Considering that, the numbers are very impressive I agree.

Default I'd say you are getting AT LEAST your advertised gains...

that dyno reads very very low.

Here is a stock 340hp Audi S4 on that dyno...

A stock 450hp Audi RS6 (tough to go by as it is an auto tranny car)...

A stock 170hp Audi A4 dynod 101whp (the 121whp is the car chipped)...

Nice, maybe the dump valves are doing their thing?

Could be. Tough to know, nevertheless i'd be pleased with the results.

Default Those are pretty good numbers for that dyno

The Stock S4 dyno was my car with only a few K miles on the car, after about 14k more I went back and saw a 20whp gain.

Thanks for the clarification. About a 32% drivetrain loss on your car and that dyno I guess.
