Default 10 degrees cooler in AZ and the horses have awaken...

Now that it's starting to cool down in Phoenix power is up, the clutch feels smoother and the beer tastes better too.

Default I've noticed a similar effect (on the car, at least).

Dunno if it's placebo or not, but it does seem a bit more spry in these cooler temps.

Default Each 10 degree drop in intake air temp will give you approximately 1% more hp....

In this car, you are making 24hp more at 40 degrees than at 90 degrees. Add in the lower humidity factor at cooler temps and it will even be a few hp more.

Default Intake vs OEM Box

Maybe the best deal would be to use the OEM back with K&N filter in the Summer and Intake in the Fall/Winter for best result......

Default Re: Each 10 degree drop in intake air temp will give you approximately 1% more hp....

but, cooler and denser air aids the engine. so, dry heat is bad. and no humidity isn't necessarily good. it's the amount of oxygen, or lack of it, isn't it?
