10 mpg.. in semi-spirited and semi highway driving, real mileage using tank measure and trip meter
This seems rather lowish to me... I do rev the engine, always going to 5k to shift to 2nd. I never drive any higher than 4th gear, ever but i never drive over 65mph, ever.
10mph seem a bit low? I was thinking 12-14ish would be more likely?

never drive over 65, Ben? Time to trade her in. . .that's depressing
3rd gear, red-lined at 101 mph is where all the fun is :-).
I average ~13 mpg (50% highway driving - "occasionally" over the speed limit). Revving around town like a teenager

way to low
My average (Measured by actual amount of gas filled vs. actual mileage, and I drive pretty hard most of the time, lots of >5k rpm shifts)
after 29,000 kilometers
15.3 L/100km city/hwy mix (15.4 mpg)

well i better be clear here. i am not doing only highway.. here's how it is
15 miles of highway, a lot of it is stop and go traffic. a lot of little runs to the store.
a lot of high revving in 2nd around town, etc.
given all that in your view is it still too low?

well ok so i rounded down, it may be like 10 1/2 to your 13. that's not that far off given
the traffic and idling i do.
i am thinking it is normal for the driving.
as far as driving over 65, with the traffic i'm in, there is not even an opportunity to, were i to do that.
but honestly i find the most fun to be had is on smaller twisties, not driving super fast on a highway which can barely be felt...

that sounds similar to my normal driving style....
...same thing, 15 mile commute, plus some city driving. My average is currently in the high 15's overall, but I've been doing a bunch of WOT runs for data logging recently.
