The dealer I purchased my RS4 from had another one of their 'Ken Garff Day at the Track' events this week. The dealer (Ken Garff Porsche/Audi/VW) puts on these track events a couple of times a year at Miller Motorsports Park here in Utah. This time we ran the 2.24 mile East Track configuration - right half of the track map below.

I've driven this track a lot in its different configurations, but mostly in my modified B7 A4 2.0T quattro. It took a couple of sessions to get used to the RS4 and really start to take advantage of the additional power. Comparing the two, the A4 felt much more evenly weighted and handled better, but the RS4 had the power that the A4 didn't have to power out of the corners.

The RS4 hit 1500 miles this week, and the break-in has been a lot of fun. It's gone through a quart of oil during the break-in.

Anyway, here are a few pics from Thursday. There was one other RS4 out there, but it was in a lower run group so we didn't end up running together at all.

sweet pics, what tire/wheel setup do you use?

SSR Comps 18x8.5 with 235/40 Nitto NT01s. They are smaller diameter and width than would be ideal, but they worked fine and I was able to finish off the tires that I had used for several other track days.

I'll probably go with a wider tire now that the 235s are done.
