An 18" wheel option for you B7 RS4 guys
I ordered up a set of Team Dynamics Racing Pro 1.2 motorsports wheels for my B5 RS4 conversion project and met with a B7 RS4 owner tonight to see if they would work on your cars. It had plenty of clearance around the brakes, but was probably right at the limit for width. It's a 18x9 ET+15 and sits flush with the fender when sporting a 275/35-18 tire. I'm going to do the math but they have other offsets and I think that the next available offset might be perfect. I know they also have a 18x8 ET+11 which would be the perfect winter wheel as well.
I had them custom bore the centers for me so I wouldn't need hub centric adapter ring, spacers or anything. They fit up like OEM. The greatest thing is they are fairly light (23 lbs on these) and will run you about $250 each to your door. They were a GREAT find for me. The downside is... it takes several months to actually get them after you order. :-(
My other four wheels which I ordered in October are supposed to get here Tuesday and I'll be running 235/40-18 winter tires on those. I hope to get the RS4 back here and mount all four to make sure the fitment works and see if the smaler tires would clear. I think the 275's with this offset would require rolling the front fenders.
Anyway, thought I would share the information with you guys. Figured you are as hard up for decent wheel options as we B5 RS4 guys are... but then again, I'm cheap. ;-)

Quick check shows that they are also available in +20 and +30 offsets
Stock B7 RS4 wheels are 19x9 ET +29, so in theory the 18x9 ET+30 would be a perfect fit. It looked like there was enough caliper clearance for that to work. The +20 offset would move things in 5mm from the ones we tested, which -might- just be enough to keep from rubbing, and would certainly clear the brakes.
No way to know for sure without someone actually trying, but it would seem that either choice would probably work. At $250 it's probably workth a try!
Oh, and the 18x8 ET+11 looks like it would be 8-9mm further in, so that should work out perfect in theory. I plan to run those as my winter wheels myself.

The wheels look great, yes the car is dirty but it was only 1 degree
this morning, I guess the ice coating would give it a deep shine..
Also just installed the Ohlins SL Sport Suspension today... review to follow once we get rid of the snow and the winter rubber....
