2 incredibly annoying RS4 issues to get to the bottom of...
 

note i said "annoying", not necessarily "important".


1) iPhone/BT ridiculously loud squawk and ring
i don't know if this is the phone's fault, or audi's BT implementation, but i almost **** myself when about 25% of the time, the thing squawk's at 300% volume when connecting to dial an outgoing call over BT/car audio. wtf?

(this issue could qualify as "important" to the more senior among us, who might suffer cardiac arrest during the sudden sonic assault.)


2) navi shows trailer parks, always
seemingly having nothing to do with any setting for the navi maps, and of absolutely no use to almost any RS4 driver, the map conveniently ALWAYS show the locations of trailer parks. even with every other landmark/location type setting turned off or on, trailer parks display all over the place. wtf?

#1 is the phone...
 

I have this problem with my currect Blackberry 8830 (Verizon). My olf Nextell BB 7100i never made the loud buzz. You're right, though, it is rather alarming.

#2 I've never noticed. I guess I'm not near any trailer parks.

What version of the iPhone are you guys using?

3G, latest software. happens with the wife's 2G as well.
