2 questions - any mags done a review (besides automobile)? Ones based on first drives, not
based on the press info from Audi. Curious to see what they have to say - but need to keep them in context as they are only one person's opinion.
Secondly, has anyone heard an estimated qtr time? Not that I am focused on that as part of my buying decision, but it is one way to get a feel for how fast a car is in a straight line (which is not my main focus, but I would like to see how the RS$ stacks up...

top gear has done a video review, eurotuner has done a review. Like you, I am also waiting to see what road and track, car and driver have to say about the us version of the rs4. The quarter mile is listed in 12.8 seconds if i recall correctly.

Find the Fifth Gear and Top Gear episodes that reviewed the RS4.
Fifth Gear tests the RS4 against the M3 CS...the RS4 was quicker in acceleration (EASILY winning 7 out of 7 runs) and around the track. The M3 was better at drifting though, LOL.
Top Gear did a road test in France, where Clarkson used phrases such as "biblically good", and "in a different league [than the M3]". The Stig lapped their course in 1:25, which is quicker than the new M5.
Both segments can be downloaded from finalgear.com (you'll need a bitorrent client). Look under 'shows'.

that article is nice, but I would really like to see the U.S. Version tested with numbers. C & D tends to really get some low numbers on their track times(i.e., 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc) that I really want to see the numbers that they are able to achieve with the U.S. version of the RS4.
