Sorry can't help, many of us don't know and don't care thanks to AudiCare.

Default don't you get an itemized invoice anyway?

that's how my dealership does it. then at the bottom, they have a line item for 'Audi Warranty' which zeros it out.

Default I just did my 25k mile service w/ AudiCare on Monday. My invoice...

lists everything they did, but every entry has $0.00 next to it.

I guess every dealership is different.

Default I get mine with no $ figures, just says "Under Warranty"

With that said, I ended up purchasing the service plan after the first free 5K mile service. I think it was something like $650, right? Dealer said I would just about break even after my first scheduled maintenance (15K miles), he indicated that would run about $500K or so.

Don't think the 25K mile one requires that much more than the 15K mile (don't think they change spark plugs just yet). Fluid flushes, oil change, seems/rubber strip lubrication, cabin/air/oil filter changes, basic things like that IIRC.

Wish Audi had a Owner's Circle like BMW does, there you just enter you VIN and it tells you line by line item what the next service entails (literally to checking pressure in the tires). It is a checklist you can just print out and get the dealer to check off...

Default I had my 35k last week. IIRC the total was $470-ish, but then they zeroed it out with the warranty.

yeah, the owner's circle would be great. if I checked it for my last service on my 750i, here's what it would say:

20,000 mile service:
- fill up oil. do not drain old oil or change filter.
-do not fix any problems requested by the customer, especially if problems involve safety-related systems such as the steering, brakes, or suspension.
-spill drink inside car. do not clean.
-tell customer tires are bald. do not offer to replace.
-do not reset service indicator light.
-do not call customer when car is ready.

Default On Mon, when I got my car back, attached to my paperwork was a checklist for the 25k mile service.

It had each item they were to check and it's current condition (ranked as green, yellow and red).

The tech checked off each item as it was completed and made notes on the bottom to the S.A. and me.

For example, I had a note that they felt I will likely need to replace rotors at my next service (35k miles).

This was the first I have seen one of these (certainly didn't get one at 15k).

Default Now that's what I call a checklist:

This is from the BMW USA Owner's Circle Section of their Website.

Inspection II Checklist:

Undercarriage

Includes all items listed under Inspection I.
Change oil and oil filter while engine is at operating temperature.
We recommend BMW High Performance 5W-40 Synthetic oil, p/n 07 51 0 002 545
Check transmission for leaks.
Check rear axle for leaks.
Half shafts: Check for leaks at flexible boots.
Visually check fuel tank, lines and connections for leaks.
Check condition, positioning, and mounting of exhaust system. Examine for leaks.
Check power steering system for leaks. Check p/s fluid level; add fluid if necessary.
Check overall thickness of front and rear disc brake pads using special tool. If replacement
is necessary*:
Examine brake disc surfaces. Clean brake pad contact points in calipers. Grease wheel
centering hubs (alloy wheels only). Check thickness of parking brake linings only when
replacing rear pads.
Check brake and clutch system connections and lines for leaks, damage, and incorrect
positioning.
Check steering for absence of play, condition of suspension track rods, front axle joints,
steering linkage and joint disc.
Check parking brake actuation. Adjust if necessary.
Check all tire pressures (including spare - except M3, M5, Z8 and Alpina). Correct if
necessary. Check condition of tires (outer surfaces [left/right]), tread wear and pattern; in
case of uneven tread wear readjust wheel alignment if requested.*
Note: If requested rotate all four road wheels as instructed and rebalance.*
Inspect entire body according to terms of rust perforation limited warranty (must be
performed at least every two years).

Engine Compartment

Read out diagnostic system.
Check engine cooling system/heater hose connections for leaks. Check coolant level and
antifreeze protection level; add coolant if necessary.
Note: Coolant must be replaced every 4 years (time interval begins from vehicle's production
date); M5 replace coolant every 3 years.
Replace brake fluid every 2 years (timing interval begins from vehicle's production date).*
Check windshield washer fluid level and antifreeze protection. Fill up and/or correct if
necessary.
Check air conditioner operation.
Replace microfilter.
Note: reduce replacement interval in dusty operating conditions.
Reset Service Indicator.
Replace intake air cleaner element.
Note: Reduce replace interval in dusty operating conditions.
Body/Electrical Equipment

Check battery state-of-charge, and charge if required.*
Check lighting system, i.e., headlights, foglights, parking, back-up, license-plate, interior
(including map reading lights), glove box, flashlight, illuminated make-up mirrors, luggage
compartment lights.
Check instrument panel and dashboard illumination.
Check all warning/indicator lights, check control.

Visually examine the SRS airbag units for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of
decals, decorations or accessories.
Activate automatic roll-over protection system (if equipped) via diagnostic link.
Note: First remove hardtop/lower top.

Final Inspection

Road test with check of brakes, suspension, steering, clutch/manual transmission or
