uh... that's the whole point. GT2/GT3 = race car for the road = RWD...
meaning requires a handful of skill to really drive fast, whereas AWD turns the average joe non-race driver enthusiasts like you and me into heroes behind the wheel allowing us to drive cars like the RS4 fast with relative ease.
Put me alone in a 997 GT2 and allow me to drive with abandon and I can guarantee you that I will probably put it into the wall or wrap it around an armco barrier after a few laps

Actually yes, sans the rally cars. That's the one exception because of the terrain.
The fastest racing cars will always be RWD. F1, DTM, LM etc. And I don't think there's enough time in the day for me to post pictures of RWD super and racing cars. You found the .01% that might qualify.
