991 to RS4

991 to RS4
Moving from Dallas to Baltimore. Currently have a 2013 Porsche 991 C2 as a daily driver. Love it but concerned about winter driving and prefer four doors. Have a 2 year old but the car seat currently fits in the miniature rear seats. Always wanted an RS4 as it checks every box for me. Need a reliable performance sedan as a daily driver. Trading in for a new C4 too pricey right now and would still have two doors. Would it be crazy to sell the 991 for an 08 RS4?? Always wanted one. Any opinions appreciated.

Hard to beat an RS4 commuter car in the snow. Loads of fun! You should consider dedicated winter tires and wheels for it though. Good luck.

I agree with ELEVENS. The RS4 can be a great daily driver, but will likely cost a bit more than the 991 in terms of fuel and maintenance. Go for it...!

991 in the snow is not a big deal, I see it all the time. I drove my Cayman R year round without any problems and I live in DC only 45mins south. If you really like your 991 I would try it out for one winter and see if it works and then reevaluate in the spring time when sports cars are more in demand. Good luck with your choice.
